Nu vet jag inte om de är kvar men för någon vecka sen drog två kattugglor storpublik i Trädgårdsföreningen i Göteborg från morgon till kväll. Enligt experterna jag pratade med är det inte ovanligt med kattugglor där, men däremot brukar det inte vara så lätt att se dom. Här satt dom fullt öppet vid stora entrén och var helt oberörda av fågelentusiasterna på marknivå. Något bo trodde de inte att de hade här utan är mer att jämföra med en dagbädd.
I don’t know if they are still there but a week ago two Tawny Owls had a large audience in the botanical gardens here in Gothenburg all day. According to the experts I talked to Tawny Owls are common there, but it’s rare to ever see them. Here they sat in full view just by the big entrance not giving a hoot about the birding enthusiasts on the ground. This was not a nest they said, rather a day resting place.
