Två porträtt i profil från scenen som jag tyckte funkade fint i svartvitt. På båda bilderna har jag lättat upp high lightsen i håret för att få mer liv i bilden. (Det gjorde jag även i färgversionerna.) Jag tycker skuggorna i Maïas ansikte lyfter bilden ett snäpp. Det är lätt att man fastnar i tänket att fota med solen i ryggen, men det kan bli ett platt ointressant ljus om man inte är uppmärksam.
Two portraits from the side that I thought would look good in black and white. On both pictures I have enhanced the high lights in the hair to make them come alive. (I did that in the color versions swell.) I think the shadows in Maïa’s face elevates the image a bit. It’s easy to get stuck in the idea to shoot with the sun in your back, but you might get a flat, uninteresting light if you don’t pay attention.
