Just nu är det sista dagen på hundmässan här i Göteborg och jag var där några timmar i torsdags och fotade. När man är där kanske man inte upplever det som mörkt, men det blir man snart varse när man börjar fota. På en konsert är det så klart mörkare, men då hjälps man av spotlights som (om man har tur) är riktade mot det man vill fotografera. Inne på mässan är det ett jämnare ljus som är lika dåligt överallt. Ljusstarka gluggar och höga ISO hjälper, och det var just en av dom jag var mest sugen på att testa. Nämligen min nya fisheye med ljusstyrka f1.8.
Om man porträtterar människor ser det också jättekul ut om man använder fisheye, men det tycker sällan den man fotat. Hundar är av tåligare sort. Utmaningen är istället att vara snabb. En bit älghjärta i samma hand som kameran och sen sätta bilden direkt, för sen riktas uppmärksamheten snabbt åt ett annat håll. Kul var det i varje fall att få träffa alla goa hundar och deras ägare.
Right now it’s the last day of the dog fair here in Gothenburg, and I was there a few hours last Thursday to take some photos. While there you may not consider it a dark hall, but you soon will when you start shooting. At a concert it is darker, but you are helped by spotlights that are (if you’re lucky) directed at what you hope to catch. Inside Svenska mässan the light is more even and just as bad where ever you go. Fast glass and high ISO helps, and it was one of those I was hoping to try out. My new fisheye f1.8.
If you take someone’s portrait with it, it will look really funny. A sentiment rarely shared with your object. Dogs are of a sturdier breed. The challenge is to be quick enough. A pice of moose heart in the same hand as the camera help to get the dog’s attention but it is quickly directed elsewhere. It was a lot of fun to meet all those cute pooches and their owners.
